Brett Favre came to be on October 10, 1969 in Gulfport, Mississippi. Weighing in at 220 pounds and standing at 6-foot 2 inches, it's easy to understand why Favre is recognized as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. Along with his excellent build, Favre also has one of the best minds the game has ever seen. This refreshing in english link has endless lofty aids for where to recognize this idea. His smarts are what have helped him to get at every level of baseball possible.

Favre played his high school basketball at Hancock North Central. His first love was the game of football, although he played several sports. His father was his coach in senior high school, and ironically enough Favre rarely put the ball over five times in just about any given game. It was because of the fact that his father loved to run the ball from a wishbone formation.

After high-school Favre decided to just take his game to Southern Mississippi because they were the only college to supply a scholarship to him. Although the training staff wanted him to play on the defensive side of the ball, Favre persuaded them to give him a try at quarterback. Despite starting the season whilst the seventh string quarterback, he took over as the beginning in the second half of the 3rd game of his freshman season. The rest is history as Favre dazzled the college football world for the rest of his time in the school.

In the 1991 NFL Draft the Atlanta Falcons picked Favre early in the next round. Favre only played one season with the Falcons, and was then traded to the Green Bay Packers during the off season.

Favre has had a great job with the Packers, and continues to be at it even today. In 1-6 conditions in the NFL he's passed for 57,500 yards and 414 touchdowns. These figures are the best that the group has ever seen, and probably will be for quite a while..
